Naomi Mermin, Principal
Naomi has established a reputation for helping to bring projects through with excellent environmental protection, strong community and developer support, and positive economic impact. Naomi combines her experience in business and government with years of work in the environmental field. With an undergraduate science degree and a graduate business degree, Naomi is equally comfortable negotiating the science and the economics of environmental decisions and integrating this information into strategic policy and programmatic directions. Naomi offers technical expertise in climate change, energy, environmental health, and cities.
Megan AKi, Principal Consultant
Megan specializes in serving our nonprofit and municipal clients with strategy, operations, design and communications services. Megan’s recent experience includes guiding Browning the Green Space, a nonprofit organization tackling the racial wealth gap and climate change, through the development of core operational systems and strategic planning during their first three formative years of growth as an organization. Megan has a background in regional and municipal planning and state and local public policy, developed during their time at the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), where they led the formation of MAPC’s net zero planning practice with cities and towns. Megan holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Northeastern University, where they focused on public policy and urban studies.
